Q. How much does the system cost me to use?

A. The system is free to use but you will incur your normal usage charge from your Mobile Operator (Vodafone, Orange etc) for use of the mobile internet as part of your mobile phone package

Q. Does this allow people to know where I am?

A. The system uses the location technology developed by the mobile operators. The only way we use the location function is to establish where your handset is in order to make the system more user friendly and more intelligent. Traveline will not use any data related to this for any other purpose.

Q. How can I access the system?

There are 3 ways to access the system.

1. Text 'Traveline' to 84268 and you will receive a reply with a link to the system that you can then save as a bookmark
2. Go to the address - www.mytraveline.mobi
3. Go to your Mobile operator's homepage (eg. Vodafone live) Select Travel and then click on Next Buses

Q. Can I bookmark the system on my phone?

A. Yes in the same way you would bookmark any other webpage on your phone

Q. How do I know if the system works on my phone?

A. The system is designed to work on all the most popular hand sets. If your phone can access the mobile internet, it can almost certainly access the NextBuses system. If your system does not support mobile internet then you may still be able to get NextBuses information using Traveline-TXT

Q. How can someone on another network use the system?

A. Yes - they can use www.mytraveline.mobi (if system is not yet on the relevant portal) or follow instruction in number 3 above if it is.

Q. Which phone operators currently have NextBuses on their portal?
